The year that appears on a coin, which is usually and legally the year of manufacture. There are some exceptions to this rule. A letter following the year indicates at which mint the coin was manufactured.

Grade
The condition or state of preservation of a coin. One of the main determining factors of value.
Service
With the exception of certain uncertified circulated coins, each coin sold by Blanchard and Company, Inc. has been graded by either the Professional Coin Grading Service (“PCGS”) or by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (“NGC”).
CAC
A coin that has been identified as a premium quality coin within any particular grade, using the superior standards set forth by CAC Founder, John Albanese. Just look for the CAC verification sticker.
Price
Rare U.S. coins price value is almost solely based on condition, demand and rarity. Precious metal content is only a small factor.
